Kristin Keogh
Manager & Interim Tutor
Kristin is the powerhouse behind the operational setup of Cali's new learning service.
With a background in both the education and social care sectors, she has worked in the health care industry (Disability Services) and is registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland to deliver programmes within the Further Education sector. Her expertise in special education has focused on learning programmes and outcomes of individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
Kristin has developed and rolled out two pilots. One involved a bespoke person centred individualised programme for a service user with severe to profound intellectual ID who was medically fragile, and the other involved a pod of severe to profound children in a Special School setting.
She has extensive skills and experience in MAPA, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Advocacy, Positive Behaviour Support, and Medication Management.
Kristin has a First Class Master of Arts in Public Activism and Advocacy from NUI Galway and First Class BA (Hons) Applied Social Studies Professional Social Care from the Institute of Technology, Carlow.
She is a member of Social Care Ireland.
